The Town of Kiawah Island is pleased to provide the Merchant Plaza, an interactive on-line directory of businesses for residents and other interested parties for the Town of Kiawah Island. All businesses that have a Kiawah business license can have a directory listing free.

Merchant Plaza Directory Listing Includes:

·         Business name                                                        

·         Address

·         Telephone Number

·         Fax Number

·         Website address

·         Company Logo

·         Hours

·         Google Analytics, Facebook, and Twitter Links

·         Business Category Identification, Keyword search association and job posting

·         Ability to post & update information

*To add yourself to the directory or claim your already exiting listing click on the claim my business icon below. This will take you where you can search to see if you are already listed in the directory or if you need to initiate adding your business to the directory.

If you are listed click on your business listing and follow the prompts to “claim your site”. If you are not listed you will need to register your business by creating an account. You will a confirmation email once you have been approved.

As a part of the Merchant Plaza you have the option to upgrade your listing by adding the Micro-site features:    

Micro-site Upgrade additional features are:

·         Menu and services feature which allows you to list up to three menu/services items and assign pictures and or pdfs to each item listed.                   

·         Frequently Asked Questions feature which allows you to enter up to 5 FAQ; s provide the answer and assign a picture and or an attachment for each FAQ.

·         Daily Specials feature which allows you to enter up to three of your daily specials as well as associate pictures or attachment with each.

·         Reviews feature allow you to enter up to three review of your choice to be reflected on your business listing page. You also associate pictures, logos and attachments with each review.

·         Events feature which allows you to enter up to three upcoming events for your business and associate pictures and or attachments with each

·         Coupon Creator feature allows you to create your own coupons to be featured on your site and that are sent out monthly to residents who have either signed up to receive information form the Merchant Plaza and or have chosen to follow your business. Email promotions are sent out the 3rd Thursday of the month

You can upgrade and activate the microsite features to your listing for only $100 annually. If you would like to upgrade, claim or add your site and then contact one of the administrators below. You may pay by check or Visa or MasterCard.

Going forward businesses will see the microsite option on your business license renewal applications. Annual cycle for the microsite is from March 1st to March 1st.
